Select Soccer Teams Looking for Players
Girls select soccer teams are looking for new players to fill up three teams for the coming fall season.
The teams are looking for ’93, ’94 and ’95 players.
The teams are based in the Flower Mound area.

Mustangs Win Richland Tourney
The Northwest Alliance All-Star Mustangs won the Richland Youth Association All-Star Invitational baseball tournament on June 21.
Teams from Southlake, Colleyville, North Richland Hills, Saginaw, Haltom City and Richland Hills competed in the 10U division tournament.
According to a news release, "The week-long tournament ended Saturday afternoon with the NW Alliance Mustangs defeating the Colleyville All-Star Cubs in the finals 15-9."
Team members include Cole Smith, Blake Ibarra, Austin Whitelock, Nathanial Polizzo, Brayden Funderburg, Cameron Moore, Matt Wilson, Matt Musgrove, Garrett Barnes, Blake Ross, Chance Cooper, Trace Spasic and Garrett Moltzan.
Sean LaCroix, Doug Barnes and Jeff Ross coach the Mustangs.
The Mustangs players are from the cities of Haslet, Justin, Rhome, Ponder and Northlake.
Tryouts For Softball and Baseball Teams Set
Tryouts will be held for a 12U select softball team from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on July 7 at Nance Field in Haslet.
Tryouts for a 10U select baseball team on will run from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. July 9 at Nance Field.

Red All-Stars Win Coppell Tournament
The Flower Mound Red All-Stars baseball team went undefeated in the Coppell 8U All-Star tournament recently, finishing 4-0 in the competition.
The Red All-Stars defeated Coppell in the tournament championship.
Team members include Will Gray, Thomas Cain, Mitchell Dickson, Joe Weatherford, Brody McCord, Jackson Averitt, Michael Manning, Ryan Francis, Cole Hawkins, Dillon Carter, Ben Jensen and Zack Jordan.
The team is coached by Don Manning, Bill Francis, Jeff Jordan and Gene Gray.
