Friesian Horse Inspection Set for End of Month
The South Central Friesian Horse Association recently announced that the 2008 Friesian Horse Inspection will be held Sept. 30 at the Stargate Sport Horses dressage and breeding facility.
Stargate is located at 2700 East FM 407 in Bartonville and the event will begin at 9 a.m.
Argyle breeders Paul and Julee Kula of Wind Spirit Friesians will present several Friesians to the inspectors.
According to a news release, "Rijkje Kula [Tsjerk x Nykle] is a three-year-old mare being presented for inclusion in the Studbook. Rijkje was born at Wind Spirit Friesians. The Kulas have high expectations for her. They feel certain that Rijkje will receive the coveted "ster" [star] rating from the Dutch inspection team. Rijkje is very modern-looking, with a beautiful head and very nice gaits."
The Kulas will also present Joska E, a five-year old gelding, Annemiek Hannah Kula, a 2008 filly, and Teunis Kula, a 2008 stud colt.
The event is open to the public and refreshments will be available for purchase.

The Warriors trailed 34-31 in the fourth quarter when Brown scored on a 3-yard run to give Liberty the victory.
The Liberty defense held the Eagles to under 100 yards rushing.
