Flower Mound

JULY 4: 4:36 p.m., 5:26 p.m., a Flower Mound woman reported that a thief smashed out a window [$300] and burglarized her 2008 Ford Escape hybrid parked at Lifetime Fitness, 3100 Churchill Drive. Her loss included a purse, containing four credit cards, driver’s license, Social Security card and $40 cash. Police were called again to the location for another smash-and-grab [$250] vehicle burglary, this time a Flower Mound man’s 2008 Jeep Wrangler, from which thieves stole a wallet, three credit cards, a $100 gift card, his driver’s license and $180 cash.

JULY 6: 1:47 a.m., police arrested a local woman, 19, in the 3500 block of Westminster Trail for furnishing alcohol to minors and as an underage teen consuming alcohol.

JULY 7: 3:25 p.m., a University Park woman reported that someone burglarized her 2004 Chevy Malibu parked at Little Pete’s, 4600 Murrell Park Road, and stole her purse [$300], ostrich briefcase [$400], medication [$45], a CD case [$12] and 30 CDs [$450].

6:23 p.m., 9:01 p.m., a woman in the 1400 block of Trinity Court told police that someone stole from her residence a diamond ring [$500], a blue topaz ring [$200], a sapphire ring [$250] and necklace [$150]. Police said there were no signs of forced entry. Police were called back to the residence later that night after a mother reported that her son stole three 12-gauge shotguns [$2,100], a 20-gauge auto shotgun [$300] and a .243-caliber rifle with scope [$350].

JULY 8: 12:45 a.m., police arrested a local woman, 17, on Covington Drive for a minor driving under the influence of alcohol.

JULY 9: 2:32 p.m., a local resident reported that someone busted a rear window [$250] of a 2006 Lincoln Navigator and stole a purse and wallet [$70], containing $50 cash, two gift cards [$35] and driver’s license, parked in the 500 block of Parker Square.

3:29, police were called to The Home Depot, 852 International Parkway, to investigate a report of theft of $1,716.37 worth of merchandise by an employee.
