FMPAT’s 'Project Youth’ Reflects Earth in 2110

Flower Mound Performing Arts Theatre’s [FMPAT] continues its 16th season with the world premiere of Project Youth, a musical drama produced in conjunction with FMPAT’s youth educational programs.

Written by FMPAT’s Stephanie Riggs, the production challenges the audience to think about the future of the planet. The year is 2110 and the earth is on the brink of destruction and it is left to the children to save the planet.

The Project Youth music was composed by Adam C. Wright and Jeff Kinman and is performed by an all youth [ages five to 18] cast.

The musical is rated PG - no children under 6 years of age – and promotes water conservation and environmental responsibility.

Performances are July 17 to 20, and 23 to 26. Times are 7:30 p.m. on Thursdays; 8 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays; and 2:30 p.m. on Sunday.

The Flower Mound Performing Arts Theatre is located at 830 Parker Square in Flower Mound.
