OCT. 3: 1:16 p.m., an apartment dweller in the 1700 block of Timber Creek reported that vandals had shattered one of his residence windows [$150.73] and damaged a door jamb [$60].
OCT. 4: 12:11 a.m., a man in the 1500 block of Stone Bend told police that intruders had damaged his garage door [$1,000].
OCT. 5: Police were called to investigate four vehicle burglaries at an apartment complex in the 1100 block of Lexington Avenue, where car windows were broken and smashed [$800]. Loss included four GPS devices [$1,379] and a radar detector [$100].
7:50 p.m., an employee of Home Depot, 825 International Parkway, reported theft of five drill combo kits [$1,200].
OCT. 6: 1:07 a.m., police arrested a local man, 20, at Garden Road and Firewheel Drive for driving while intoxicated and marijuana possession.
1:30 p.m., a woman in the 1000 block of Lake Bluff Court reported that a thief had entered her home and stole a Victoria’s Secret handbag [$10], 12 Hydrocodone painkiller tablets [$75] and a hair dryer [$25].
OCT. 7: 5:53 p.m., a man in an apartment in the 1700 block of Timber Creek told police that a thief stole two 21-speed bicycles [$750].
