Flower Mound 'Fiesta’ Fundraiser Fantastic

11th Annual Chamber Event a Sellout Success

The 11th Annual Fiesta Flower Mound fundraiser for the Chamber of Commerce was a wild ride at the Texas Motor Speedway on Saturday.

Flower Mound Mayor Jody Smith, Denton County Commissioner Andy Eads, Sen. Jane Nelson, former House Majority Leader Dick Armey and many business owners and residents from around the area came together to celebrate the event.

Flower Mound Chamber of Commerce President Katy Taggart said this year’s Flower Mound Fiesta with its "Ring of Fire" theme surpassed expectations. It is the biggest fundraiser for the chamber.

"Although final numbers are not in, it is obvious that this is the most successful Fiesta ever." She added. "We have never had over 520 attendees before, and the event was sold out this year at a little over 650 attendees."
