25th Annual National Night Out Held

The town of Flower Mound hosted a city-wide National Night Out Celebration on Tuesday marking the 25th Annual National Night Out campaign – a crime and drug-prevention event sponsored by the National Association of Town Watch.

Flower Mound’s Police Department [FMPD] hosted an open house that included tours, displays of police and fire equipment, a SWAT display, the K-9 unit, McGruff the Crime Dog and display of crime prevention information.

"It seemed like the kids enjoyed it, and that’s what we are here for," FMPD Police Officer Steven Caldwell said.
