Cystic Fibrosis Benefit at WineStyles

The official kick off to the 2009 North Texas Wine Opener will be held at WineStyles on Friday, Oct. 24, from 6 to 8 p.m.

The benefit wine tasting will also feature gourmet pizza from Flower Mound’s new zpizza restaurant and a variety of breads from Great Harvest.

"If you’ve ever attended a Wine Opener, we encourage you to stop by WineStyles to visit with old friends," said Andrea Grubbs, event co-chairperson. "We welcome the opportunity to share this amazing experience with new friends, too."

WineStyles is located at 6100 Long Prairie Road [FM 2499] in Flower Mound.

The 2009 North Texas Wine Opener is planned for Sat., March 28, at the Flower Mound Equestrian Center, with The Grotto providing its fine cuisine and new musical talent packing an even-bigger dance floor.

A portion of the proceeds from the evening’s wine tasting will benefit the 2009 North Texas Wine Opener and the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. Donations will also be accepted for the 2009 wine pull raffle at this year’s event.

For the past three years, tickets have sold out early, so event organizers encourage everyone to secure their space while tickets are still available.
